The Classic Wallabies will arrive in Rockhampton this July to participate in a fun filled festival of rugby as part of the Gold Blooded tour in the lead up to the World Cup in Japan.
A few hours before the Wallabies take on the Springboks in South Africa, the Classics will take on the Central Queensland Barbarians at Victoria Park on Saturday July 20.
Rocky’s own Stephen Moore will headline a Classics team with over 600 matches worth of experience. Lachie Turner, Morgan Turinui and Brendan Cannon have also been named with more names to be announced.
The day will start with a free coaching clinic where local juniors between the ages of 8 & 13 are invited to be coached by members of the Classic Wallabies and Classic Wallaroos.
The on-field action will kick off with the Open School Girls Sevens Tournament, before an Open School Boys match and the Classic Wallaroos taking on a local Women’s Barbarians side.

Before they run on, the Classic Wallabies will be hosting a Long Lunch in Rocky Sports Club with guests invited to share a few laughs and hear tales from Wallabies tours whilst enjoying a 2 course lunch.
